The Ancient Siam Civilization of Wat Khok Muang
Wat Khok Muang is one of many small ruins which dot the city of Ayutthaya. Remains of Ubosots and Prangs from a long time ago blend in with modern buildings in the city. Wat Khok Muang is located in a side street which leads to Wat Mahathat and was the first of 22 temples we visted on a walking tour through the old parts of Ayutthaya on a November day in 2008.
