Wat Ratcha Pradit Sathan

Wat Ratcha Pradit Sathan

A beautiful example of an old Ayutthaya temple is Wat Ratcha Pradit Sathan. An Ayutthaya-style crowned Buddha statue of Phra Phuttha Borom Trai Lokanat is installed in the Ubosot. A friendly monk talked with me and explained some of the details of the temple to me and handed me a bottle of ceremonial water. The roof had been repaired and as part of the ceremonies several important monks took part in the blessing of Buddha images which were available for rent to raise funds for the temple.
