Wat Wora Chetharam

Wat Wora Chetharam is an old temple on the way to the Sleeping Buddha of Ayutthaya, which most tourists will visit. Thai people still come to the temple today to commemorate the historic facts about the temple by performing special ceremonies. The temple was built in approximately A.D. 1593 when about 10.000 monks attended the cremation of King Naresuan the Great.
