The Ancient Siam Civilization of Wat Boromaphuttharam
Wat Boromaphuttharam is a beautiful temple which is mostly overseen by tourists as there is no real entrance to it. It is located on the grounds of the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University and dates back to the Buddhist year of 2231. Historically the temple was known for its yellow tiles covering the roofs of the buildings and took two years to complete. Exquisite mother-of-pearl inlay doors had been placed in this temple, which are now installed at Wat Phra Kaeo, Wat Benjamabopit and at the National Museum in Bangkok.
