Right across from Prasat Nakhon Luang was a huge ancient chedi which attracted our attention. Trying to visit the chedi, we met an older monk who showed us the way to the Ubosot, which turned into a real pleasant surprise. Old mural paintings and scriptures on the walls along with an Ayutthaya-style image were waiting for us. We also loved the old wooden floor of the Ubosot and the fact that it was really well maintained.
