Note: Initially we split our Bangkok temples up between the west and east of the river. The temples here along the Klongs were some of the first we visited more than a decade ago. Of course since then we have added many temples simply under Bangkok, east and west of the river. 

One of the first temples to reach in Klong Bangkok Yai in Thonburi. From the side of the river one can only see the bell tower but not the main buildings with it's many Buddha images inside.
