Wat Son Khao

Wat Son Khao is located just inside the Northern City wall. The pagoda, now partially in ruins, is a lotus-bud shaped chedi. This style was only popular amongst the artists from Sukhothai. More of them can be seen in Si Satchanalai. A pond separates Wat Son Khao from Wat Sorasak, which were originally one temple.
