Wat Ratchabopit
One of the most beautiful temples of Bangkok – Wat Rajabopit Sathitmahasimaram Rajaworavihara. It was built in 1869 and its Chedi is designed after the famous Phra Pathom Chedi in Nakhon Pathom, the largest Buddhist building in the world. The inside of the Bot is designed like a gothic cathedral. As the term Mahasimaram in the name indicates there are eight stone pillars surmounted with a carving of the Buddhist Wheel of Law.
