Wat Mahathat
Wat Mahathat is an old temple which represents remains of the ancient city dating back to the Dvaravati (Mon) period. There are many chedis, Buddha images and a distinguished Lopburi style chedi on the compound. I also found the old Ubosot with the three Buddha images below very picturesque. The temple sits right next to Wat Phayaphraek, which is now in ruins.
