Wat Chulamani

This was the last temple we visited on our day trip to Phitsanulok. The temple dates back to the Lopburi period (some books say Sukhothai period) and the main Buddha image, Luang Phor Petch, is now enshrined in a modern building. It is the oldest temple of Phitsanulok and the original site of the old city. Outside are remains of the old Prang which still contains stucco artwork, as well as a Mondhop containing a footprint of Buddha and inscriptions of King Narai the Great of Ayutthaya.
