Phra Phutthasihing Pavilion
Not a temple but a highly worshipped Buddha image. This silver replica of Phra Phutthasihing is carried around the streets of Chonburi during the Songkran Festival. Otherwise it is enshrined in this public pavilion near the city hall of Chonburi town. Update 2008: After 5 years we went back again in order to show the Buddha statue to a friend. Unfortunately the staff working in the pavilion was very unfriendly and rather talked on their cell phone than tending the visitors. We were also told that photographs are not allowed. Lucky we did already take ours 5 years ago.
