Tham Chakrapong Monastery

As I am indicating above by not calling it a wat (temple in Thai), we were told that this is a monastery or simply just a place of worship. This is the huge Buddha image which can be seen from the ship approaching the Island Koh Si Chang and is located high above the village of Si Chang. The trip here is mastered by oversized motorcycle taxis which easily seat 4 people. They take one up the steep slopes and give a tour of the island and it's beaches if wanted.
