Wat Yannasang Wararam
Updated 2008: This is a huge temple compound. So big, that we weren't even sure anymore if we were at the right temple or already on the land of the close by Nongnut Garden. The temple is located on a lake and consists of several buildings, including a prayer hall with a replica of the Buddha image Phra Phuttha Chinnasi, an international Pavilion and a large collection of sino-thai artifacts. On a nearby hill is a mondop, bearing the king and the queen's names and a double footprint of Buddha. Unfortunately, there is no photography allowed inside the mondop. There is also regulations to follow when visiting the Pagoda Phra Borommathat Chedi Maha Chakri Sri Pipat. With shorts or shoulder free shirts one cannot enter it. The same rules exist for the Ubosot with the main Buddha image. Photography of the Buddha is also not allowed.
