Khao Chi Chan Buddha image

Not a temple but rather a place of worship, this 109 meter high Buddha image was created for the His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 50th coronation anniversary. The name of the image is "Phra Phutta Maha Wachira Uttamopat Satsada" and it is of Sukhothai and Lanna style. Even when driving down on Sukhumvit Road from Pattaya one can see the the mountain and it's Buddha image in the morning sun in the far distance.
