Wat Sattahip
Sattahip was the last city of Chonburi Province on the way east (rather south-east). It is a small and quiet fishing village by the sea and it is also home to a naval base. Many of the beaches and bays here are administered by the Navy. Wat Sattahip was built in 1899 and is the temple were the renowned monk Luang Pho I or Phra Kru Worawet is very much revered. This is a larger temple again and all the buildings were open. We weren't always so lucky during our trip here. Some temples looked completely deserted because of the rainy season.
