Wat Dong Sak
Wat Dong Sak was our first temple on a tour to the western province of Kanchanaburi. While the Ubosot was under renovation or actually construction, we got a good look at the other buildings on the compound, specially the museum which now hosts the 6th Century Vishnu statue and many other old Buddha statues. One of the monks showed us around and pointed out many items found nearby in the Pong Teuk archaeological site. We visited the site after the temple and the honorable monk actually followed us to give us a book about the excavations at Pong Tuek.
