Wat Chaloem Phrakhiat Woraviharn
A bit further to the North from Wat Salak Dtai in Nonthaburi is Wat Chaloem Phrakhiat Woraviharn. The great white Chedi in the middle of the temple complex was built during the reign of Ayutthaya. Various temple buildings have with colorful designs and doors have been built around it. This temple also shows some of the finest examples of the wooden structures where the monks live. Two important Buddha images are installed here at the Phra Ubosot and the Viharn, namely Phra Buddha Mahalokaphinantha Patimakorn and Phra Sila respectively.
