Wat Rai Khing
None of our maps included this important temple. Luckily our friend and driver was well aware of this temple and drove us here in June 2004 and another visit in September 2007. The highly revered Buddha image, Luang Phor Wat Rai Khing is related in stories to other important images like Luang Phor Sothon, Luang Phor Ban Laem, Luang Phor Thong and Luang Phor To. The temple here is so richly decorated that one needs to spend a lot of time in the Ubosot to see the number of details and murals on the walls. Behind the temple along the Khlong we fed the huge fish in the water, which is one form of merit making.
