Wat Chimphli Sutthawat

 When walking around the small island of Koh Kret in Nonthaburi one comes across the old Wat Chimphli. It is built in Mon-style and sits picturesquely on the banks of the river in front of palm trees. Inside the temple stands an Ayutthaya period Buddha image. When we visited it was a bit dark and dirty, the doors were open and several dogs were inside the temple building.
