Wat Pa Mok Worawihan
A beautiful huge reclining Buddha image, named Phra Buddha Saiyat, resides within the royal assembly hall of Wat Pa Mok Worawihan. The old temple was built during the late Ayutthaya period, while the Buddha image was built during the Sukhothai period. The 22.58 meter long Buddha image rests of a 3 cylindrical pillow covered by Pha Thip, which is itself a magnificent piece of stucco art. During the reign of King Thaisa of Ayutthaya this temple consisted of two separate temples, known as Wat Chi Pakhao and Wat Talat.
