Wat Phra That Chom Chaeng
This is a quiet temple outside the city of Phrae, close to Wat Phra That Cho Hae. It is a mix of new and old since the temple was originally founded in 788 but there is several new structures like a large standing Buddha image. The 29 meters high chedi contains a relic of Lord Buddha and there is many details here to be seen, like a large reclining Buddha image outside the main compound and a beautifully decorated gate. An old brick chedi and some very graphic scenes of what human suffering looks like are located in the forest just behind the monks quarters.
