Wat Yan Nawa
This temple sits along the river bed of the Chao Praya and is visible from Taksin bridge, the boat tours or when going to the last stop of the Skytrain, called Saphan Taksin. Besides a beautiful old Ubosot, the temple contains a building which resembles a junk, which houses two chedis. Only after one of the monks pointed it out to me, did I realize that it is open for visitors. It provides a nice view over the temple grounds. The original temple dates back to Ayutthaya times and the name has changed several times.
