Wat Mung Muang

We didn't really plan to visit Wat Mung Muang but mistakenly thought it was Wat Ming Muang. The temple seemed relatively new and it was either under renovation or still being built when when we visited in December 2004.  I still liked parts of it like the very different ceiling and the altar with it's standing Buddha image.  On the temple grounds is a huge big belly Chinese-style Buddha image, but it is a bit too "parked in" by cars for my taste. Outside the temple grounds are lots of market activities with lots of mountain village women selling goods.
