Wat Noi Doi Tung

About 60 km north of Chiang Rai is Wat Noi Doi Tung, a small temple just before the famous Phra That Doi Tung shrine. It requires a mountainous drive in the amazing settings of the "three mountains", Doi Tung, Doi Mae Salong and Doi Hua Mae Kham. This is a very scenic area along the border with Myanmar and a very touristy area during weekends.
