Wat Kassa 

Wat Kassa is located in the center of Mae Chan town. Most visitors to Doi Tung or Mae Sai don't really stop here but we did a family visit and took the chance to visit the local temple here in 2005 and again in 2008.  There was no specific information about the temple available so we just enjoyed the highly decorated windows and the front of the Viharn and two structures to the side of it, one being the bell tower. Not far from the temple is a typical Thai market where western visitors are still not an everyday sight.
