Wat Mahathat 

Wat Mahathat in Chiang Saen is just on the other side of the street from Wat Chedi Luang. The nice thing about Chiang Saen is that most of it is within walking distance and there is plenty of trees which offer shade. At Wat Mahathat not much has remained from the old days. Just some ruined parts and walls are visible.
