Wat Phra Buddhachai
'Temple of the Buddha's Shadow' is a remotely located temple in central Thailand where a relief-like painting on a huge limestone rock is considered to be the shadow of Lord Buddha. On the top of the rock is another temple building, which actually features a footprint of Buddha, but it should not be confused with the famous Wat Phra Buddhabat a few miles further. This place here is monkey paradise. We actually had to have someone stay with our car because the monkeys were all over it, tearing every piece of plastic inclusive the windshield wipers off the vehicle. The view off the mountain is fascinating!
