Wat Khao Takhrao 

The reason to visit Wat Khao Takhrao in Ban Laem in Petchaburi Province is to see Luang Phor Thong, a Chiang Saen-style Buddha image with lots of legends around it. It is highly revered by the people of Petchaburi and is completely covered in gold leaves, that almost cover up it's features. On the temple grounds is also a hilltop building with Buddha images in it and to our surprise a cable car has been installed to bring visitors to the hilltop. From the hilltop one has a great view onto the surrounding villages and fields.
