Wat Aranyik
On the way to the Khao Ngu cave lies Wat Aranyik, a quiet temple with an identical prang as the one from Wat Mahathat in Ratchaburi town. It is smaller though and the area around the prang is not so well taken care of. Nearby is an old Ubosot, which seemed to be falling apart when we visited in June 2005. Behind the Prang is a huge white sleeping Buddha image and the combination of the two in this rural part of Thailand provides a good setting for meditation or just some quiet moments.
