Wat Sa Morakot
This temple is located between the ancient monument called Boran Sathan Muang Sri Mahosot and the Angkor-period moat Sa Morakot in Prachinburi Province. It is a small temple with a new ubosot (actually not completely finished when we visited in September 2005). We spent quite some time with an elderly monk who showed us the large Phra Buddha Chinnarat statue and a smaller white Buddha image in the ubosot as well as several older Khmer statues in a small building in front of the sala. Sa Morakot means "emerald pool" in Thai and just that pool can be seen behind the temple.
