Wat Chedi Thong
Wat Chedi Thong is a bit further north along the Chao Praya river in Pathum Thani. The Mon-style chedi is the central attraction of the temple and about 160 years old, but there is another chedi which is covered with figures and foral designs. The temple also contains a white Burmese jade Buddha image called Phra Buddha Roob Yokkhao. This Buddha image is securely placed behind safety glass in an open sided building, which might have been the old Ubosot. We went back to Wat Chedi Thong in 2009 and it was again one of the few temples in this province which are actually open.
