Wat Phra That Hin Kio Doi Din Ki
A tiny Mon-style pagoda sitting on top of a balanced rock (Hin Kio) is the final destination at this temple, which is also called Wat Phra That Doi Din Ji. One the way there in the border country with Burma one passes militia check points and one has to climb 413 steps up the mountain. On the way up is also a cave with a Burmese Buddha image, with a face which looks almost alive. The view into the valley is absolutely beautiful as well and rewarded us for the difficult way.
