Wat Mahawan
Wat Mahawan is a great temple we visited on our second trip to Lamphun City. It features an impressive Viharn which is richly decorated inside with murals and outside with an impressive Naga balustrade. The main reason to visit this temple for Buddhists is the Lawo-style (Lopburi) Buddha image seated under the Naga's hood, Phra Sila Dam, locally called Phra Rot Luang or Phra Rot Lamphun.
