Wat Nuea

Wat Nuea or Nue is a beautiful and very quiet temple. It was one of the cleanest temples I had ever seen. It is surrounded by a cloister that shields it against the noise from the outside and an old tree in the back provides a welcome shade in the summer heat (we visited during April). The main Buddha image inside the Ubosot is a beautiful Isan-style seated image.
