Phra That Yakhu

The Phra That Yakhu was the first religious site we visited in the province of Kalasin, which turned into the highlight of our 2nd trip through Isan. Kalasin has so much to offer in terms of temples and sites, that we did regret not staying here but in Khon Kaen. The Phra That is an ancient monument dating back to the Dvaravati period. Other remains and boundary stones can also be seen here. The site is a quiet place, surrounded by rice farms.
