Wat Tai

Wat Tai is in the center of Kalasin city. During our visit in March 2006 it was under heavy renovation and the main Buddha image was covered with plastic. A huge festival was held on the temple grounds to collect money for the badly needed repair work, which provided us a good way to make tamboon.  Inside the temple building were beautiful murals covering the upper part of the wall.
