Wat Buppharam
Wat Buppharam is a mix of old and new. The smaller viharn in Lanna style is older and is a mixture of old teak from the 17th century and restorations of later centuries. Interestingly the viharns are facing north, which totally through our directions apart, since they normally face east. Wat Buppharam also contains Phra Buddha Narit or Phra Buddha Nares Sakchai Phairee Phinas, one of the largest teak wood Buddha statues of Thailand.
