Wat Phu Khao Kaeo
On the way to the Nationalparks along the Mekong River in Ubon is Wat Phu Khao Kaeo, a temple built in the 1930s. It is located on a hill close to Phibun Mangsahan. Decorated in red ceramics it is still a beautiful temple but in 2006 during our visit it looked like it could use some renovation work. On the inside upper walls are reliefs of the Phra That Chedi's of Thailand. Go back one temple Next temple
