Wat Phailom
We had skipped Wat Phailom several times during our visits to Phetchaburi, so in May 2006 we finally stopped here. This is an old temple from Ayutthaya times, which is now in ruins. The temple is known for it's stucco work, which is not really kept up or protected well. The outside wall is depicting a scene of the pilgrimage to the footprint of Lord Buddha on Sumanakut Hill in Sri Lanka. Go back one temple Next temple
