Wat Na Phrathat
Wat Na Phrathat in Nakhon Thai is an old temple which is located on the route from Phitsanulok to Loei province in the remote backcountry. The interesting building in the temple is a wooden structure which sits on old ruins of a former temple building. It contains an old statue of Luang Phor Phet, which is protected by an iron cage. Obviously many statues in this remote country were stolen, thus the temples have to take these drastic measures to protect them.
