Wat Tay Talat
Wat Tay Talat is located in the city of Uttaradit, north of the city center and next to the railway tracks. The old Ubosot is well known for it's wooden door panels and lintels. Connected to the large sala is a wooden library, which also shows some beautiful wood carvings. Merit-makers bring gifts and flowers to a small viharn behind the Ubosot. During our visit it happened that they brought the decorated head of a dead pig, which is always a shocking sight for us as vegetarians :-)
