Wat Don Sak
Wat Don Sak is also an old temple in Fai Luang sub-district. It's buildings are surrounded by forest and rice fields which gives the temple a very tranquil setting. The door panels and gables are beautiful wood carvings, though some of the panels were missing already. We could not find out if they were stolen or just being renovated. All over the country we came across temples were doors had been stolen - unbelievable! Wat Don Sak was the last temple we visited in Uttaradit, a beautiful province, off the main tourist track but well worth to visit.
