Wat Aranya Banphot

Wat Aranya Banphot's tall Phra Sutham Chedi is visible from far when travelling on Nong Khai's Highway 211 along the Mekong River.  Inside the chedi are the remains of a highly respected monk. Flowers from H.M. the King and the Queen as well as other members of the royal family are shown by the respective royal color.
