Wat Sri Chum
Wat Sri Chum is said to be the biggest Burmese traditional temple in Thailand. Unfortunately the old ubosot burned down in 1992. It was said to be one of the most beautiful Burmese style temple buildings in Thailand. I also liked the chedi and the mondop-style Ubosot as well as some of the other buildings within the monastery. Burmese-style Buddha images are located in the Ubosot as well as the main building, which functions as a viharn as well. The abbot of the temple told us that while it is a traditional Burmese temple, the abbot had to be a Thai national.
