Wat Phra Phuttha Bat Phu Khwai Ngnoen

Wat Phra Phuttha Bat Phu Khwai Ngnoen

A long drive along the scenic highway (or rather road) 211 with the most potholes we have ever had in our lives finally lead to this temple, located on a mountain outside of Chiang Khan. It is a highly revered temple which contains a footprint of Buddha. As today (due to the potholes) this temple was once almost inaccessible. The area around this temple is stunningly beautiful.
