Wat Ketkaram
Wat Ketkaram is an important temple for all people who fall into the dog symbol under the Chinese calendar. The cedi at this temple represents the symbol of the dog. Wat Ketkaram was historically called Wat Ket Kaew Chula Manee and is nowadays just called Wat Ket. It lies east of the Ping River and the old city. The old Ubosot and the Viharn are both elaborately decorated and the temple features an excellent museum which is single-handedly run by Jarin Bain, the founder of the museum. We spent quite some time here and had a long talk with Jarin and learned a lot about the temple and it's history.
