Wat Phuak Taem

Wat Phuak Taem is also an old temple within the old City of Chiang Mai. It is said to have been built in A.D. 1483 and the temple's name is assumed to be that of the builder of the temple, the mural paintings and the lacquer work. "Phuak" meaning the head-man of the village.
