Wat Phra That Haripunchai

Lamphun is a quiet town, without the masses of tourists of Chiang Mai. Wat Phra That Haripunchai, named after the former Kingdom of Haripunchai, is the largest and one of the most important temples in Northern Thailand. The chedi of 46 meters and the wonderful libraries are just two of the many things to see.
