Wat Hang Dong
Wat Hang Dong is a little visited temple in the village with the same name, better known as a center for ceramics and woodcarving. Two beautiful temple halls stand next to each other in a picturesque country setting. The gables of both buildings are richly decorated as are the windows of the hall to the right. A beautiful temple! Unfortunately it was completely deserted when we visited the first time in April of 2007, so we had to come back 6 months later and were able to see the beautiful inside of the temple with its murals, richly decorated teak wood pillars and the main Buddha image. On both visits were amazed about how clean the temple grounds are kept.
