Wat Si Rong Muang

Wat Si Rong Muang

Wat Si Rong Muang is a Burmese temple in Lampang, which is interesting for it's building's architecture and the very richly decorated interior. Several Mandalay-style Buddha images from Burma are located in the large teak wood Viharn, which was built around 1905 and took 7 years to complete. Burmese workers employed by the British at the time built the temple to make merit.
